Every month of the year, scored across 12 guides. January carries the most destinations in the prime band (20), but the right month is the one that lines up with the trip you can actually take.

The count of destinations in the prime band only moves between 14 and 20 across the whole year, which is the useful thing to know before booking anything: for kitesurfing the month decides where you go, not whether you go.
